The expected constitutional challenge to Missouri’s new adult entertainment law has been filed. The lawsuit, filed in Jefferson City, says the new law is unrelated to the original purpose of the bill filed in the Legislature. Among those listed as plaintiffs: a sales clerk for an adult video and magazine chain based in Boonville, three strip club dancers, and one patron. The law is to go into effect on August 28th. It bans nudity and lap dances at strip clubs, among other things.
