The federal agency that runs security checks on our luggage at airports concedes it might have acted too hastily in ordering a 20-percent cut in screeners at Missouri’s busiest airport. Officials with the Transportation Security Administration have met with staff members of Missouri’s congressional delegation to say the TSA used outdated passenger figures and would look at new numbers, which show increased passenger boardings at Lambert Airport in St. Louis. Passenger boardings at Lambert are up ten percent from last year’s numbers at this time.
