Want a piece of Busch Stadium? Your opportunity has arrived. The St. Loius Cardinals will hold a silent auction Tuesday and Wednesday. Not much of Busch is moving into its new home, which will overlap the current stadium. So, the ballclub is in a sellling mood. Everything from the Mitsubishi Diamond Vision Mark III HC video screen to the 11 red leather chairs from General Manager Walt Jocketty’s box, from the Stewart-Warner scoreboard to 58 picnic tables from Homer’s Landing. The auction won’t include what the Cardinals are calling memorabilia, material with the Cards logo, such as one of the player’s lockers or something from Manager Tony La Russa’s offices. This auction is for the serious. Everyone attending the auction will have to post a full refundable deposit at the stadium gate.
