Sheriff’s Deputy Sues Meth-Maker Over Health Problems

August 2, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

A Franklin County sheriff’s deputy is suing a convicted methamphetamine-maker charging he suffered permanent lung damage when he inhaled anhydrous ammonia at the man’s meth lab. The suit filed by sheriff’s Corporal Jason Grellner targets Troy Manning of Gray Summit, who’s in a federal prison for five years. Anhydrous ammonia is a key ingredient in making meth. No specific damage amount is mentioned. Grellner is the leader of Franklin County’s drug task force.
