The Chiefs’ first-round pick is at camp. The team and linebacker Derrick Johnson agreed to a five-year, $10.5 million deal that could inflate to $13.6 if Johnson is able to earn all of the incentives in the contract. He joined the team in River Falls, Wisconsin on Monday and will begin practicing on Tuesday.

“It’s over now and I put that behind me and I’m ready to work,” Johnson said on Monday.

Johnson led the Big 12 with 138 tackles and set an NCAA record for forcing nine fumbles last season as a senior for the University of Texas last season.
