Unemployment in Missouri is down to 5.4%, its lowest level in more than two years. Total non-farm employment is up to 2,730,000 jobs. The biggest gains have been in the leisure and hospitality sectors. The Economic Developement Department says those areas have shown a larger-than-normal increase for the summer tourism season.
