The bad news isn’t so bad for Scott Rolen. He has tendonitis in his right shoulder and his availability will be limited for the next three-to-six weeks, according to team physician George Paletta. But the MRI showed now structural damage and it appears to be just a matter of time before he is back to normal.

Rolen injured the shoulder during a collision with Dodger’s first baseman Hee-Seop Choi on May 10th. The injury left him on the DL for over a month.

Rolen is expected to be in the Cardinals’ lineup tonight.
