A pair of women sit in jail in Independence and police say they picked on an 80-year-old man, stealing his cash. Police Sergeant Kevin Freeman charges Cassundra McGill and Tammy Blake abducted and robbed the man. And he believes they selected him, because of his age and the fact that he moves very slowly. Freeman says the two women followed the man home, talked their way inside, then bound, gagged and blindfolded him. Not long after, they took him to his bank, forced him to withdraw money, and took the cashiers check. Once it was cashed, they cut the man loose. He quickly called the police and the women were arrested. The sergeant believes McGill and Blake might have pulled similar jobs throughout metropolitan Kansas City.
