Legislation making the first full weekend in August an annual Sales Tax Holiday has been signed into law by Governor Matt Blunt. Items to be sold free of state sales tax during the weekend include certain cothing, school supplies, and computers. The Governor has also signed a number of economic development bills. Among them is one strengthening Missouri’s Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board. It will allow small employers greater say when governments make important business decisions.
