Stewart Wins At Sonoma, Wallace Is Fourth

At Sonoma, California, Tony Stewart was the winner in yesterday’s NASCAR event. St. Louis native Rusty Wallace was the highest placing Missouri native, finishing fourth. Joplin’s Jamie McMurray was 13th, Fenton’s Ken Schrader was 35th and Columbia native Carl Edwards was 38th.

The win moved Wallace up two spots to sixth in the point’s race. Edwards is ninth and McMurray is tenth.
