Governor Matt Blunt makes a pitch to consolidate state government Information Technology operations. He’s told a gathering of computer experts in Jefferson City that he wants the state’s various Information Technology services consolidated to save money and improve service. Blunt says there are currently about three dozen Information Technology divisions spread throughout state government, employing about 1,400 people.
