Death Row Inmate Gives Back Through Proceeds of Publication

June 8, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

A Missouri death row inmate who was sentenced to die for murder has joined other death row inmates throughout the country to give back to murder victims’ survivors. Dennis Skillicorn was given the death sentence for a 1994 murder and is an inmate at the Potosi Prison. He is the editor of “Compassion,” a bi-monthly publication that raises scholarship money for members of victims’ families. Since Skillicorn became editor of the publication in 2003, about $21,000 in scholarship money has been awarded.
