A man who led the most recent state commission studying higher education says the commission’s recommendations have been ignored and that means higher education in Missouri is more mediocre today than it was then. The Chairman of the State Commission on Higher Eduction was R. Crosby Kemper III of Kansas City. He says the state has failed to focus on the proper issues in higher education. Kemper headed the commission during the Holden Administration. He has outlined the conditions to Governor Matt Blunt’s commission on governmental reorganization.
