Foster Child Shot and Killed

June 3, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

An 8-year-old southwest Missouri foster child has been shot and killed. The Joplin Globe reports Braxton Wooden has died in his foster home. Police have yet to determine whether the shooting was accidental or self-inflicted. A 14-year-old boy was at the home at the time of the shooting. It’s unclear whether anyone else was. The victim was the son of a Webb City woman whose children were taken away last year when a toddler was found on the roof of his mother’s home.
