Economic Development Chief Talks Up Business-Friendly Environment, Pushes for Results

June 2, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri’s Economic Development Director travels to the Lake of the Ozarks to meet with business leaders at the Annual Governor’s Business Development Conference. The message from Economic Development Director Greg Steinhoff is that with passage of legislation such as litigation reform and workers’ compensation reform, Missouri is open for business. Steinhoff says it’s now time to turn legislation into results. And, he says the path has been cleared to make that happen. Steinhoff says he often feels as though he came into his job at harvest time because so many people had spent so many years working on business-friendly issues. He’s reaped the benefits, but must now deliver.
