The Missouri Tiger baseball team had to wait two days to find out for sure, but on Monday all doubts were erased—they are in the NCAA Baseball Regionals. They will head west to the Fullerton, Ca. regional, which is hosted by Cal State-Fullerton, which won the College World Series in 2004.

Mizzou will be the third seed of that regional and will face second-seeded Arizona (37-19) in their opener on Friday. The Tigers (39-21) going to the regionals for the third straight season and for the fourth time in head coach Tim Jamieson’s 11 seasons in Columbia. It also marks the 17th trip in school history. In 1954, MU was the national champ.

The other game on Friday will feature Cal State-Fullerton (41-15), which won the Big West Conference Tournament against Harvard (29-15), which won the Ivy League.
