The Springfield Cardinals had a slim lead going into the seventh inning. A 2-1 advantage was all they had to work with. Then they exploded for their biggest inning since the franchise moved to Springfield. The Cardinals scored eight runs in the eighth and eventually beat the Wichita Wranglers 10-1.
