Jury to Decide Punitive Damages in Nixa Rape Case

A jury meets today in Springfield to decide whether the United Methodist Church should be punished for not heeding warnings that one of its ministers was sexually abusive. The juyry already has awarded a former Nixa church employee $2-Million in actual damages. She said she had been raped by the minister in her office at the church. Now the jury will decided if additional punitive damages will be added.
