A federal prosecutor in Kansas City is calling on a judge to get really tough with a man who is accused of kidnapping his own children and who will not tell where they are. Daniel Porter is charged with kidnapping his two kids after he picked them up from his estranged wife last June. Porter has pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a gun. In a sentencing memo filed in that case, an Assistant U.S. Attorney asks the judge to send Porter to prison for the maximum sentence of ten years. The whereabouts of the children are still unknown.
