The Springfield Cardinals were down 6-0 before they put a run on the board in a 6-5 loss to the Wichita Wranglers on Tuesday night. Springfield cut the Wrangler lead to 6-2 when Brad Cresse, who recently joined the team, drove in a run with a grounder and Bo Robinson singled in a run.

The Cardinals rallied for three more runs in the seventh inning thanks in part to two bases-loaded walks, but could never tie it.
