SLU To Name New Women’s Hoops Coach

April 19, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

St. Louis University has found a new women’s basketball coach. SLU will introduce Shimmy Gray at a news conference this morning. Gray spent the last five years as an assistant at Arizona and Wahsington. She played her college ball at Michigan, where she was a three-year starter. After college, Gray spent four years as a police officer before going into coaching. Gary replaces Jill Pizzoti, who was fired after going 4-23 last season.
