Minges Smacks Two Home Runs, Lifts Springfield Past Wichita

Tyler Mingis powered the Springfield Cardinals to a 9-6 win over the Wichita Wranglers on Monday night. Minges hit two home runs, including a grand slam in the eighth. Minges is the first player in the short history of the Springfield Cardinals to hit a grand slam and to hit two home runs in one night. Minges’ slam highlighted a seven-run eighth inning for Springfield. The Cardinals have won two in a row over the Wranglers, and are now 5-6 on the year.
