Friday is Deadline Day for filing your 2004 income tax returns. And, the State Revenue Department is suggesting e-filing for taxpayers who have waited until the end. April 15th means things are going to be very busy at the State Revenue Department and at tax preparation offices throughout the state. So, the Revenue Department suggests you save yourself a lot of time and hassle by filing electronically. The Department’s Maura Browning says it’s as simple as logging onto www.dor.mo.gov and following instructions. If you haven’t completed all your paperwork or if you can’t pay all you owe, file anyway and request an extension. By doing that you avoid late filing penalties.
