KC Needs More Money To Keep Fountains Flowing

April 11, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri’s City of Fountains needs some money to start flowing so its oldest fountain can start flowing again, regularly. Kansas City’s fountain at the Paseo and 9th Street, known as the Women’s Leadership Fountain, is 106 years old. It will flow, a ltitle bit, today when the city fountains are all turned on. But the city thinks it will take $1.3-Million to restore it so it can run the way fountains should run.
