SEMO Gets 10th Inning Win Over MU

April 7, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The second largest crowd to ever watch a Southeast Missouri St. home baseball game gathered at Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau on Wednesday. It’s safe to say that most of the 2,732 who made their way to the game thoroughly enjoyed the Redhawks topping the 19th ranked Missouri Tigers 8-5 in ten innings.

Eric Bracamonte ripped a three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning to give SEMO a 10th inning win for the second day in a row. The Redhawks topped SLU the day before 3-2. Bracamonte finished 4-for-6 with two homers, five RBI’s and two runs scored to lead the way. With the win, SEMO improved to 11-16 on the season and dropped the Tigers to 23-6.
