Initial Approval Given To Regulation Of Travel Clubs

April 5, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The State Senate votes to make travel clubs and ticket brokers more accountable for what they sell. The Senate has advanced a bill letting consumers have three days to back out of any travel or ticket deal. Sponsor Larry Gene Taylor of Shell Knob also wants to give somebody 30 days to cancel part of a package if the deal turns into something less than expected. His bill also says any company that gets in trouble with its customers will be banned from Missouri until it posts a $50,000 bond.
