The 24th ranked Missouri baseball team just kept rolling on Wednesday, with a 16-8 road win against Saint Louis University. Missouri took advantage of two Billiken errors in the first inning and held a 4-0 lead after the first frame. That lead didn’t last, as SLU eventually tied it up a 5-5 in the fourth.

In the sixth inning mistakes cost SLU once again. Tiger junior Derek Chambers singled, then advanced to second on a passed ball and scored on another passed ball. Mizzou added three more runs in the inning to lead 9-5 and scored four more in the seventh inning.

Freshman Jacob Priday was 2-for-5 with three RBI’s and scored four times, while junior James Boone was 2-for-2 with three walks, two RBI’s and three runs. Mizzou has won 13 straight games and has a record of 21-4.
