AG Pleased Execution Schedule Resuming

March 30, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon is pleased that the State Supreme Court has finally started setting execution dates again – after a nearly 18-month unofficial moratorium. Stanley Hall was put to death on March 16th and Donald Jones has an execution date set for April 27th. Nixon expects that the six prisoners who have exhausted all of their appeals will now have execution dates soon set. Nixon says he doesn’t know why the Supreme Court has finally started moving on executions again.
