Governor Begins Two-Day State Tour To Sign Tort Reform Bill

One of the major bills of this legislative session is being signed by Governor Matt Blunt at various locations during a two-day swing through the state. Ceremonial signings of the litigation reform bill are being conducted today in Springfield, Joplin, Kansas City, and Cape Girardeau. Tomorrow, signings will take place in St. Louis, Hannibal, Kirksville, and Jefferson City. The Governor has referred to enactment of meaningful litigation reform as one of his top legislative priorities.
