A southeast Missouri man arrested for leaving the scene of a fatality accident has now been named a “person of interest” in the slaying of a State Highway Patrol trooper. 28-year-old year-old Lance Shockley of Van Buren was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident in Carter County on November 26th of last year. Highway Patrol Sergeant Carl Graham, who was shot to death at his Van Buren home, was the investigator in the leaving the scene of the accident case. Investigators are now questioning Shockley about Graham’s homicide.
