Supreme Court Rejects Consideration Of Horse Seizures

March 22, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The State Supreme Court will not consider whether more than 100 horses were illegally seized on the farm of a man living near Republic. The Court says the case should go through the State Appeals Court before it considers again whether to hear it. Republic rancher William Zobel says Greene County authorities and the Humane Society of Missouri illegally deprived him of his property. A veterinarian says many of the horses were starving and neglected. Four dead ones were found on his property.
