The Southwest Missouri State men’s basketball team had its season ended by Davidson in a first-round NIT game on Saturday night. The SMS Lady Bears hope to avoid a similar fate tonight. They host Gonzaga tonight in the second round of the WNIT. Tonight’s contest should be a challenge. Gonzaga comes in with a record of 28-3. The Bulldogs went 15-0 in West Coast Conference play, but just missed out on an NCAA Tournament bid after losing in their conference tournament title game. SMS comes in with a record of 21-8.
