Flags Fly At Half-Staff For Fallen Trooper

March 21, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Matt Blunt has announced all flags at state facilities throughout Missouri will be flown at half-staff in honor of a State Highway Patrol Trooper who was shot to death outside his home near Van Buren. The body of Sergeant Carl Dewayne Graham was found late Sunday afternoon by a passer-by. In a written statement, the Governor says heartfelt prayers are with Sergeant Graham’s family, friends, and fellow troopers. Flags will remain at half-staff until dusk on the evening of funeral services. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. An investigation into the shooting goes on.
