Dems accuse Blunt of "Immoral Agenda"

March 18, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

House Minority Leader Jeff Harris accuses Governor Matt Blunt of pushing an “immoral agenda.” Harris says the actions of the Governor and Republican legislative leaders have caused Democrats to question whether there is integrity in state government. Harris says cuts to Medicaid and other social service programs are wrong and break the campaign promises the Governor made last year. He also accuses Blunt of breaking a campaign promise to never withhold money from education, pointing out that Blunt has withheld money from the state’s colleges.
