Abortion Bill Gets Final Approval In House

March 10, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Anyone who helps a young girl go to another state to get an abortion could be slapped with a civil lawsuits under a bill winning overwhelming approval in the House. Supporters say it will keep young girls from crossing state lines to avoid Missouri law that minors must have parental consent to get an abortion. Opponents say it’s a needless restriction on abortion rights. Still, the bill wins House approval and now goes to the Senate.
