New Chair Elected To Head Highways And Transportation Commission

Marge Schramm has been elected to a one-year term as Chairman of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. Schramm, who previously served as Vice-Chair, replaced Bill McKenna, who takes over as the new Vice-Chair. State law requires that the most senior members of the Commission hold the leadership posts. A year from now, Schramm and mcKenna will again switch posts, which they will hold until their terms expire in March of 2007. Schramm is a former Mayor of Kirkwood and former head of the Missouri Municipal League. She is preaident of Jefferson College and a former state legislator.
