The MIAA Conference’s women’s basketball tournament got underway at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City on Thursday. The 3rd seeded Central Missouri St. Mules topped 6th seeded Missouri Southern 72-69. 5th seeded Missouri Western topped Pittsburgh St. 72-70. Washburn knocked out Southwest Baptist of Bolivar 64-51 and Northwest Missouri St. fell to Emporia St. 100-75.
