MoDOT Releases Plans For Transportation Projects

March 2, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The State Transportation Department has released how the 59 projects proposed to be built with Amendment Three money rank against each other. Chief Engineer Kevin Keith says A group of state transportation engineers and private citizens from throughout the state sat down last month and each rated how important they thought a project might be. Keith says just because a project ranked high or low, it does NOT mean that it will or won’t be built once the list is pared down to fit into the budget. He says that final decision will be up to the State Highway Commission, sometime this summer. Keith hopes about half of the projects will be built.
