Three Missourians Finish In Top 10 In California

February 28, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Greg Biffle took the checkered flag at California Speedway on Sunday, but for fans of Missouri natives, the winner wasn’t nearly as interesting as some of the guys who finished close behind. Joplin’s Jamie McMurray made a late surge and finished fourth. Carl Edwards of Columbia was 5th, but led a couple of times on Sunday to move up to 4th in the point standings. St. Louis native Rusty Wallace isn’t showing any signs of rust in his final season—he was 10th on Sunday. His brother, Mike Wallace, was 25th and Fenton native Ken Schrader was 14th on Sunday. Rusty Wallace is 8th in the points’ standings and Mc Murray is 17th.
