Chicago St. did it again. A base-line jumper from Tony Weeden with less than two seconds to go broke a 72-72 tie to beat UMKC 74-72. Earlier this month Chicago St. beat the Kangaroos with a 55-footer at the buzzer. UMKC had trouble stopping the Cougars, which shot 57 percent on the night. The Kangaroos are now 15-10 overall, 11-3 in the Mid-Continent Conference and tied with Oral Roberts for the league lead. UMKC travels to Southern Utah Saturday and wraps up the regular season at home against Valparaiso on Monday.
