The labor dispute involving the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and its musicians is on the verge of being settled. Almost eight weeks after the work stoppage began, a tentative deal worked out last night could soon see the music makers back on the job. The settlement is subject to approval by the musicians. Terms will not be made public until the union has voted. Results are expected Tuesday.
