Chiefs Cut Holliday, Rams Cut Chandler

February 23, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The Chiefs released defensive end Vonnie Holliday on Tuesday, after two seasons with the team. Holliday was signed before the 2003 season from Green Bay. In two years in Kansas City, Holliday didn’t live up to expectations the Chiefs had for him. In 2004 he made just 13 tackles in nine games….The Rams said goodbye to quarterback Chris Chandler after one year of service. Chandler stepped in for Marc Bulger when he went down with a shoulder injury. Chandler threw six interceptions in a loss to Carolina and was pulled after just six attempts against Arizona the next week.
