UMKC ended a two-game conference losing streak with a 67-63 win over Western Illinois on Thursday. The Kangaroos have now won 12 straight games over the Leathernecks. Four Kangaroos finished in double-figures. Carlton Aaron led the way with 13 points. Mike English scored 12 points, Quinton Day added 11 and Tim Blackwell scored 10. UMKC improves to 14-9 overall and 10-2 in conference play. The Kangaroos host Oral Roberts on Tuesday. The Kangaroos trail Oral Roberts by a half-game in the conference standings.
