The Kangaroos have bounced back, pardon the pun. UMKC, which had its 11-game winning streak snapped last Saturday, returned Monday night with an 84-7 non-conference win over Utah Valley State at Municipal Auditorium. The ‘Roos took a 45-31 lead into the locker room at half time, but had to hold on to get the win, as UVS out-scored UMKC 46-39 over the last 20 minutes. UMKC was led by senior center Carlton Aaron, who had 26 points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore guard Quinton Day and senior forward Mike English added 20 points apiece. UMKC hit 25 of 28 free throws, as they improved to 12-8 on the season.
