The St. Louis Billikens were blanketed defensively by Houston last night in a 63-43 road loss. SLU shot 42 percent from the field, hitting just 3-of-12 three pointers. While their percentage from the floor wasn’t deplorable, the offense was stalled by 18 turnovers on the evening, compared to just eight by the Cougars. Reggie Bryant was the only Billiken to score more than eight points, putting in 12 on the night, as SLU fell to 5-15 on the season and 3-5 in Conference USA play, while Houston improved to 13-9 and 4-4.
