State Transportation Director Pete Rahn has delivered the annual State of Transportation Address to a joint session of the General Assembly, outlining MoDOT’s accomplishments and future plans. Rahn has called on lawmakers to pass legislation promoting safer travel and better transportation options. Rahn says more money will be needed to fund the State’s transportation needs. But, at the same time, he fails to provide details as to how that money might be raised. Rahn told lawmakers transportation is an important part of the State’s overall economic development.
