Governor Releases Inaugural Donor And Expenditures List

February 1, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Matt Blunt has released the list of donors who contributed to his inaugural party and a list of expenditures. The Governor’s inaugural committee raised more than $260,000 in private donations but only spent about $249,000. Blunt is giving the remaining $11,000 to Mehlville Public Schools in the St. Louis area for efforts to raise money for tsunami victims. Blunt spent no taxpayer money on the inauguration, and spent considerably less than the million-dollar-plus inauguration bill of Governor Bob Holden four years ago.
