Eric Crouch will try the NFL again and this time, the Chiefs are responsible. Crouch, who has quit the twice, has signed with Kansas City and will play NFL Europe as a safety. In 2002, he was drafted by the Rams to be a wide receiver but quit in training camp. In 2003, he signed with the Packers, in hopes of making the team as a quarterback, but quit before training camp when he learned he wasn’t on the three-deep list. He tried again with the Packers in 2004, but was cut in June. Crouch also worked out with the Chiefs last year but didn’t make the team. He won the 2001 Heisman Trophy at Nebraska.
