Vermeil Says Defenisve Coaching Staff To Remain In Tact In 2005

January 18, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The Chiefs defensive staff will remain the same according to head coach Dick Vermeil, despite finishing second-to-last in the NFL in total yards allowed. Gunther Cunningham finished the first year of his return to Kansas City as defensive coordinator and the numbers worsened in some areas in 2004. Kansas City allowed 103 more points, 330 more yards and forced 17 fewer turnovers than they did in 2003.
