January 18, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s back to the break even point for the UMKC basketball team. After starting the season 0-7, the Kangaroos are now 7-7 after topping South Dakota State 95-85. UMKC built a 24-point lead but that lead shrunk to just two points in the second half. UMKC led 76-74 with 5:36 to go, before going on a 19-11 run to finish the game. Mike English led the way for UMKC with 20 points, Quinton Day had 19 and Brandon Temple chipped in 18.
